Had a comfortable stay here during our trip. Beautiful venue, WONDERFUL location near to a restaurant and the Fez medina and the alleys in the middle of the Medina, loved our stay. The room on the terrace delightful. Had breakfast in the terrace, it was particularly nice with honey and various breads.

The terrace on the room at the top overlooking the city is spectacular, although it's a long climb up a lot of stairs with heavy luggage. It's a little difficult to find, being in the medina, but a great location near Batha Square. Aziz, who was on duty most of the time we were there was helpful and pleasant and made us feel welcome.

The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. We explored some local markets and even had a relaxing evening on the terrace with fine city views. Make sure to pack light since the Riad is in a narrow alley that's a bit of a walk from the drop-off. Highly recommend staying here!
The room I stayed in had limited natural light , made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Make sure to choose a room that gets more sun!

Everything! I cannot fault Riad Said, the staff or the location. Our host Aziz made our trip to Fes the most welcoming and friendly part of our trip to Morocco. He was extremely helpful and made us feel as though Riad Said was our home. He was always there to answer any questions or to guide us and greet us throughout the whole stay. We hope to see him again sometime soon! The Riad is one of the most beautiful places we have every stayed. The decor is tasteful and elegant and the terrace overlooking the Atlas mountains was a great place to relax after our day touring the medina. Aziz organised a very funny and trustworthy tour guide for us and for that we are most thankful as exploring the medina on your own is impossible. We ate at the Riad and the food was the best we have tasted.Breakfast in the tiled courtyard with fountain, underneath big umbrellas was also a highlight. If only we could make it our home for a bit longer! You must stay here or at Riad Layla which is owned and staffed by the same people and is just as beautiful.

This riad is sooo well done. This place has been completely renovated and updated, while keeping it's traditional integrity intact. Fresh paint, new bathroom fixtures and tiles, not to metion the amazing courtyard. If going by cab, tell them its in the Old Medina (this would have saved us so much time!). Its was late when we arrived and the night guard was amazing! He maded a diner reservation for us and arranged for a guide to walk us there and back. This place is super new, so dont be put off by the lack of reviews. Worth it!

I thought breakfast would be a highlight, but the fruit was inedible and the coffee was cold-how disappointing. The so-called "hot" water was more lukewarm, and i can't believe i wasn't offered a room upgrade given my expectations. I almost considered giving a better review but just couldn't bring myself to do it.

This is a exclusive Riad, by all means. It is very spacious, and very tastefull furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They arranged a city tour with a guide for us who was very good. The food was excellent as well. It is located in a calm aera in the Medina, but close to all the shops and all the attractions. We enjoyed every minute there and I can only recomend it.

The decor and the location. Our room had a fantastic terrace view.
• Laundry: after discussing with Mme Hanifa (owner’s sister), Samir said the charge for pressing would be mad 8/- P.P. (Euro 1 = mad 10.80) and no charge for washing as they had their own washing machine. It was only on this condition of free washing, I gave clothes for washing / pressing. On exit, he billed me Euro 39.00 which was downright cheating. I eventually paid MAD 192.00 for 24 items even though only 11 items were pressed. I have the proof of both bill submitted and bill actually paid so they can’t question this. • The exchange rate billed on exit was MAD 11.30 = Euro1.00. I insisted be made to the prevalent rate of that day. • The negative but very polite attitude of Samir, the main receptionist - was solely interested in ensuring we stayed there even though the room was not suitable for my wife • Nowhere on the website do they mention that the terrace room had 56 steps with each riser being over 12" !! My wife had real problems climbing and we could not move as Samir insisted on full payment – ironically, we had to extend our stay due to unforeseen circumstances. • The bathroom had no door – just a plastic curtain which was not really in keeping with the riad’s ambience.

The charming decor and keen staff, particularly the good rooftop breakfast experience. While our ground floor room offered a hint of charm, the lingering sewer smell at times was quite bothersome. A better WiFi connection would have significantly enhanced our stay.

Located in the old area so no car noise or traffic problems, yet easy to get a taxi from. The riad arranged our transfers to and from the railway station. The accommodation was excellent, lovingly restored to a very high standard. Huge bed, huge bathroom, huge bedroom! Lovely bedlinens, elegant decor yet retaining a traditional Moroccan feel. Dinner on the rooftop was charming, food authentic North African - with alcohol available. The staff were friendly and professional and couldn't be faulted.
The interior steps were very steep and could be a big problem for anyone with mobility issues.

After the first daunting encounter with the long staircase to our room we knew we were in for a treat in disguise: The calm environment and very friendly staff. Breakfast made to order at the time of your convenience. Privacy of the rooms and beautiful balconies. We definitely look forward to returning.
